JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage and deliver design of construction projects end-to-end
- Monitor architectural design functionality, aesthetics, and its compliance with local zoning laws and urban planning regulations
- Oversee the design process to ensure alignment with objectives and regulations Ensure compliance with all the necessary building codes and local regulations
- Coordinate lawyers and civil engineers on the buy-in stage Coordinate legalization process and obtaining construction permits
- Manage day-to-day activities, schedules, deadlines to ensure timely completion within budget
- Consistent supervision of all the team members involved in projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and other external project participants
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress and compliance with the initial requirements
- Anticipate and mitigate risks related to cost overruns, schedule delays, or quality issues
- Be updated for changes in construction laws and architectural guidelines in Greece
- Prepare all the necessary projects plans and documentation
- Identify critical milestones and monitor their execution
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in project management in construction, engineering or architecture
- Professional certification in project management will be an advantage
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time, according to standards and regulations
- Responsibility, reliability, and proactivity
- Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle on-site challenges efficiently
- Solid understanding of the main architectural design principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Greek building regulations, zoning laws, and construction codes
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Proficiency in architectural design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent command of Greek language and English (both written and spoken)
- Fluency in English language (both written and spoken)

Description

The broad purpose of your role will be to facilitate, support and guide the marketing strategy of the Group while delivering an exceptional investment journey, which is the hallmark of Mercan Group.
You will be responsible for the strategic marketing development plans and driving all revenue streams in operations with an emphasis on Group, Corporate and Leisure Business, developing strategies to optimize revenues and will work with the Head Office Marketing Team.
As a successful candidate you ideally will have experience in hotel sales and marketing positions, be proficient in all aspects of hotel plans and looking for a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, strategize and drive all revenue streams in operations with an emphasis on the Group´s projects in Greece.
- Corporate and Leisure Business, develop strategies to optimize revenues and work with the individual hotel management and the Head Office Marketing Team.
- Coordinate marketing campaign activities, including developing campaign assets, maximizing content for digital channels, and generating PR coverage for campaigns.
- Build and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop group sales deployment strategies through competitive data review, demand analysis and mix management in conjunction with Head Office Revenue Manager.
- Identify revenue gaps and proactively seek to drive revenue across our properties in Greece.
- Actively seek out new promotional opportunities through events, showcases, online activity and social media as well as maintaining existing/return business.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, trade shows and events both locally, nationally, and international when applicable.
- Ensure hotel brands and corporate brands are developed in the market to position them as must-see venues for their target markets.
- Oversee the development and implementation of all marketing materials and activities, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate marketing strategies with other efforts across the company.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, your experience should include:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism or Equivalent experience (ie. candidate can prove skill set through job experience).
- 3+ years in a similar managerial position.
- A proven track record of delivering strategic multi-channeled marketing campaigns.
- Ability to work as part of a close team but also individually when needed.
- Great communication skills (both verbally and written) in Greek and English.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Commercial awareness and target driven mindset.
- Experience working in the hotel or tourism sector (desirable).
- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach and good planning skills.
